I tried to return a pair of skullcandys I bought that stopped working 3 months after purchase, and the guy wouldn't let me without a receipt. Who the fuck keeps a receipt for a $30 product? Needless to say, I now buy Sony's; I don't even need to worry about the receipt because they never break.
Wiley Miller: "Well skiing is kinda like partying, you swerve to and fro, hit shit, and sometimes you fall. You can be hurting the next day and say iíll never do that again, yet a few days later your back at the same stupid antics you were doing."
file a warranty saying that there is a short in the left speaker. they will email you back tell you to cut the plug off and send it in. ive done this alot. it works. too bad they take forever to send you your new shitty headphones
first of all you do it online. second of all I was told to just put in that you purchased them the day you send the warranty in by one of the guys over at skullcandy. third of all, why would they send it to you when they can just pay the cost of the stamp to have 12" of the cord sent in to skullcandy and they pay for postage back to your door?
well how many of those terrorists have bombed their own mosques? they wouldn't because if they did, they'd get chris hanson having them sit in a chair when they walk into heaven instead of 40 virgins. -skiierman
i dont get all the hate on skullcandy. my icons have lasted me 2 years, 2 full ski seasons of almost daily use, and more in the off season. one of the top support bands snapped because i fell on it, thats it.
did i just get lucky?
Can you spare just $2? Ranji is a 9yr old boy living in Namibia . He has only 1 leg, 1 arm and 1 eye. Each day he has to ride 7 miles to school along a narrow road on a rusty bike with bent wheels, no brakes and only 1 pedal. If you send us just $2, we will send you the video Ė itís fucking hilarious."
1. buy skullcandy full metal jackets on steepandcheap.com for $26 +shipping
2. wait for a speaker to die
3. warranty on skullcandy.com
ended up with new icon2's for this season, asymm's for earbuds (actually quite comparable to the FMJ for $30 less) and i got free shipping so i still have about $15 store credit on the skullcandy site. just waiting for the hats to re-stock.
try sennheiser. 100x better sound quality than skullcandy headphones and lik 500x better quality than skullcandy in-ear. they are cheap, stay in your ear perfectly, and cancel outside noise. they're a dream
