I have a bunch of clothes I do not wear. A friend told me about a place called Plato's Closet. I guess you take your clothes to this store and they make a offer to buy them from you. has anyone been to this place? Do they pay anything good or just try to rip you off?
Theres no such place that I know of. I'm from california however and we've legalized pot. So theres a good chance that in my THC induced stupors, I've missed out on this wonderful place of clothing purchase.
Yea we have a few in Ohio, idk where you are from tho. Actually one of my friends mom owns the company and you can definitely get some solid cash instead of just throwing your clothes away.
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.
Check out this link. http://www.platoscloset.com/locations/list/CA
Just donate them to the salvation army you greedy fuck.
its actually legit, better than throwing the shit away. go for it
I am in Colorado and their are a few here in my area. I think its a franchise thing. I could be wrong though.
Yeah these places are pretty legit, but the clothes have to be in good condition. I sell my clothes all the time when I get sick of them to a place like this in my hometown, and they pay fairly decent
So I am greedy because I have been out of a job for two months now and have to make a my truck payment so the bank does not take it back? If that's the case then yes, I am a "greedy fuck". In fact, I am so greedy that I am selling some very nice Armada and Oakley jackets for only $50. Not even a year old. Dang, I am such an asshole.
I hate them. I have loaded up all my clothes and went there waited around for like 2 hours and then they offered me like 15 bucks. It really sucked and wasn't worth it. Its a cool idea but they pay so little it isnt really worth it in my opinion.
What kind of stuff did oyu have? I hear they pay better for whatever is currently in style. I am not saying yours was not at the time. Just wondering.
a buddy of mine got burton ak pants there for like 25 dollars pretty much new the closest one to me is in burlington

Your just buying a bunch of dead teen clothes.
idk sometimes i bring stuff in and they offer a decent amount or sometimes they'll offer next to nothing. I think a lot of it depends on what they have in stock.
