Why do you ski?

Sometimes it's nice to reflect on why we love this sport so much.

For me, I lose all sense of time. When I strap on a pair of skis, nothing else matters. From the watching the sunrise at the top of the mountain, to floating through the air or pow, it removes me from the bullshit of every day life.

skiing gets me past any issue or pain in my life and gives me indescribable joy when i have the opportunity to ski. and even if i am off the hill no matter what is going on in my life, as long as i know that i can still ski nothing else matters.

how else are you going to get any sense of fulfillment in the winter?

i totally identify with the removal from stressful life, and I have never considered doing any other sport with as much dedication and passion as skiing.
