J.D.
JAHpowIs this your second pair? I remember asking what shoes those were before.
J.D.same pant, different colour - actually my fourth pair.
Also got these.
omnidataHi-top brown sneakers.
You are now 90% of the Dutch 30-40 year old 'common trendy' male population with a vinex-home, 2.2 children, blonde doughy wife and a Peugeot 308 SW.
J.D.You seem to enjoy using clothes as a definitional tool or status symbol of some sort. I've noticed this from previous comments on clothes, mostly in this thread... "You choose to wear this category of thing, which in turn places you in this category of person". It's an attitude towards clothing that is basically the same as kids who wear a lot of supreme because they think it makes them cool, or before that, Ed Hardy.
It's not a super flattering quality.

omnidataI though you knew me better then that. Material possessions are a sociological status symbol, visual markers indicating cultural values of a society or a subculture are not a foreign concept, humans are bound by it, as free as we are condemned to be, considering we are responsible for all we do, as we are our choices and as we are free in our choices we are free in our judgement. My comments in this thread are brief statements on how the item can be perceived, I don't necessarily agree myself with what I say, CDG x Converse aren't the shoes of choice for French child prostitutes soliciting in immaculate barren bathrooms -well maybe they are -, it's for a bit of a laugh to be honest, not that that doesn't shine through and explaining it dulls the momentum.
Same as you right now, bringing Supreme and Ed hardy in equation with me, If I'd care i'd be deeply insulted, yet frankly I don't, I mean, enough to write this quip which has become a tad bloated and is not a great moniker for it anymore, but that's what keeps me ordinary, a pretending and understanding of emotions. Humanity brings meaning and values to what I discern as a nothingness, this thread is a holy church to materialistic consumption, if there's no judgement, how jesting it may be, there's can be no appraisal. I frankly like you more now J.D., you reciprocate, with panache and a sting. Also pay no attention to this great big jumble of words, seeing as I'm currently occupied with a chateau Latour '76, a complex mistress, you would mistake her to be half her age until you noticed how subtle she is, she's fading, pay her a visit before she's gone.

J.D.you have an age range, a small European nationality and a type of house to apply to a pair of shoes? Weird.
steezysteezeI don't care for the rest of this argument but I think it's pretty reasonable to come up with a stereotype for a pair of shoes. I mean I think we were to all think of the typical Jordan, DC, FiveFinger, etc. wearer we would probably draw up the same type of person.
CirilloWell I'm about to buy myself another watch since my birthday is coming up in 2 weeks.

omnidataRead it as Wankmann, without googling, obscure 60's importer/shop brand, swiss made, Valjoux stuff?
Yup, importer of Breitlings, has a Valjoux 730 which is just a high beat Valjoux 72c.
Now the real saving starts. Hopefully I can have some self control and not buy another watch until the funds for current grail, a 1016 explorer, are acquired.
Lé.SkiingJust got myself some Slipknot, Lamb of God, Bullet for my valentine, and motionless in white Last Stand tour tickets today. Hell yeah for pre-sale! Stoked For August 24th.
