Jane6Dont ask me why...
DeebieSkeebieshonestly wouldn't shock me if SFB becomes the next DC sniper or something.
*DUMBCAN*Is it also plastered with ads for things no-one outside your university can understand?

And that to mount it above my TV. Hope this shit works out.
PC.JibberI work at a Vault and we can't price match to the website. You probably got lucky with a chill manager or an associate who didn't know what was up. I got in some shit for price matching to the site so I wouldn't rely on it haha.
IMO, the Razorblade has a more durable feel to it. Fits a little tighter, and fewer movable parts (ie no adjustable arms). I'm thinking of picking up a second set of Eyeshades. One to ski with and one to keep in better condition.
Phil-X-weird... I called and talked to a chick and she said they do price match, came in a few hours later and got rang up by a guy who said "aright you have your print out?" and i showed my phone. He also talked with another guy working the register next to him and called the vault as well (they had it for 79 in store) so thats super weird.
The quality of the arms really pisses me off... cant believe they were asking like $120 for such shit plastic. Since you work at a vault whats my best option for getting spare arms? or lens? You got dat hook up?
kbonrlol original price on the oakley eyeshades was like over 200 and you got them for 40 quit bitching... i just got mine and i couldn't be more stoked they even came with wrap around arm bands for more intense usage.
GhosterI don't think anyone was planning on it.
LucasThe thing is they aren't worth anywhere near $200. $40 isn't too expensive but if I paid more than $15 for shades and they weren't optimum I would be upset.

kbonr40 bones is so cheap for shades...
for 15 dollars you cant buy shit like knockarounds are more than 15 dollars
LucasLol, have you ever wondered where the majority of "Sunglass Companies" get their shades from? I'll give you a hint: http://www.aliexpress.com/premium/sunglasses-men.html?ltype=wholesale&d=y&origin=y&SearchText=sunglasses+men&initiative_id=AS_20150109214347&isViewCP=y&catId=200000750
But whatever, keep spending a ton of money of money on something if it makes you feel better about it
PC.JibberNot sure what you mean by "majority." The only kind of argument you could make here is that a lot of the top brands are owned by Luxottica, but that link doesn't seem to say that. There is actually a significant difference between gas station shades and real sunglasses (oakley, ray ban, maui, etc).
Specifically for Oakley (not an expert on other higher-priced eyewear), you get:
Optical integrity (i.e. no distortion due to lens curvature in spherical lens models)
Clearer polarized lenses: cheaper polarized glasses typically glue a polarizing film between an inner and outer lens (so you're essentially looking through lens, glue, film, glue, lens, sacrificing clarity). Oakley injection-molds their polarized lenses, so there is no film/glue used.
Angles of polarization can also be mismatched in cheaper pairs, meaning one lens will underperform in terms of glare reduction. Oakley lenses are produced with more scrutiny, such that there is never any such mismatching.
Impact protection: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDtazhqy0xs Durability of the Eyeshade in particular is questionable, but only in the arm material/construction, as it's not "meant" as a sports frame anymore, but more of a lifestyle, walk around town pair. The lens is still ANSI z87.1 impact rated though.
You wouldn't buy $10 goggles from Walmart, why should glasses be different?
omnidataFashion victim fuccboi, I bet you're gonna dye it black aren't yah?
MUFCJust ordered a custom 2015 C400 White exterior with AMG Cranberry leather inside, all options as well. Get it at the end of March.
Not my photos below but what I ordered
MLJ/owned
Admittedly, oakleys are overpriced a shit ton, but this is true over your average 15$ shades. Oakleys can come to $200 which is ridiculous for a couple pieces of plastic lol.
omnidataI love it when i order things at 4am and promptly forget I did so, makes it seem like presents when the packages arrive.
Real random assortment today:
Superga Cotu's in suede, because you can never have enough shoes and they cost next to nothing.
Aerobie Aeropress, finally caved in, had too have one as a self-proclaimed coffee snob, still feels as if I bought a Tell-Sell product.
Derby star Pink/black football, I needed a football and this was they gayest one I could find, not gay in the bad way though, it's a fabulous and striking object.
And Code Willem, a photobook limited to a 1000 editions from Willem Middelkoop, a well known Dutch photo journalist, very gritty, very rough, me like.
H.ScorpioGet some good beans and that aeropress will revolutionize your world of home made black coffee.
SFBmosin nagant m91/30. shout out to my boy culture+ for the sweet deal.
The referenced post has been removed.
omnidataAs lord espresso, the world of slow coffee is still very alien to me despite using drips and French presses for years. I do wish Aerobie would team up with Hario and make a better looking glass aperratus, right now it really is a bloody hideous tumerous growth of black plastic, it's what put me of buying it for years until last week.
yangumane
:'-) pretty stoked
zbphotoMEC refunded me for my old junk headlamp that broke, will be nice to actually see what I'm doing for a change.
