The key to making paintball affordable is have a friend that does it that has a nice big set of field with woods to play on. My parents place has a nice strip of woods devoid of underbrush that we play on all the time, tank fill is only $5 since we all have about 3 tanks, and paint is all we need to worry about.
We just go to the local hardware store to buy all our spare parts/o-rings.
Plus, what kind of paint are you buying if it costs you almost $40? I bought a case of these:
Which are considered some of the best paintballs around (a case is 2000 rounds) for around $60. So, I ask.. what kind of paint and how much are you buying?
For a bag of mid grade stuff that is around 500 rounds it was barely even like $10 where I buy all my stuff.
