IF3 Vancouver

Hey everyone,

I have some more info on IF3 Vancouver that I wanted to pass along to everyone in here.

As you may know, it's a one-day event that will be taking place on Saturday, November 20th at the Vogue Theatre on Granville Street in Downtown Vancouver.

The event will begin at Noon and run until about 10pm (followed by an afterparty...stay tuned for details on that) during which the following films will be shown...

Inspired Media Concepts' Like A Lion

Level 1 Productions' Eye Trip

Poor Boyz Productions' Revolver

This schedule is of course subject to change, and there will be more details coming soon on www.IF3.ca. This is going to be the biggest freeskiing film festival that Vancouver has ever seen, so even if you've already seen some of these films by then, be sure to come out and show your support, because the bigger the turnout the bigger it could be in future years.

Midterm in victoria on friday, if3 on saturday, then skiing whistler sunday, back for class on monday. Gonna be an epic weekend.

Another quick reminder that this Saturday is the big day! Go to http://www.if3.ca/if3/node/7841 for the full schedule and to purchase your tickets...and keep in mind that purchasing them in advance is cheaper than buying them at the door.

We're also happy to announce that SBC Skier is going to be hosting a sweet afterparty at a club called Joe's Apartment (formerly Tonic) which is right across the street from the Vogue.

We're very aware that Whistler is opening on Friday, and I'm the last person in the world who would ever discourage anyone from going skiing, but please keep in mind that this event is something you've all been wanting to happen for years in Vancouver, and your support is extremely important to its future. As I've said before, the bigger the turnout the better it will be in years to come, and it will definitely be scheduled earlier next year as a result. So go skiing on Friday or Sunday, or for a bit on Saturday and then come back down to the city to show your support. You won't regret it.
