true.. however many students wouldn't choose education unless an athletic program is made available at their school. and football programs bring in SO much money for the school... @ least at boise state. the population has increased tremendously since BSU landed on the radar for college football... which has raised funds to better education.
Yeah I fully understand. I just wish people placed more intrinsic value on education. You know, like get "FUCKING PUMPED UP" because their school has the best fucking molecular biology department in the conference, ya dig? I don't expect it to be solved. ITs just a bummer to me is all.
For almost all colleges, football is the biggest revenue maker for the college. Average Big 10 ticket price is $46. Wisconsin holds 81,000 people. That's 3.7 MILLION dollars. Per game. Plus TV revenue, plus team sponsors (Adidas, Nike, Under Armour). Plus concessions, and other sponsors. Merchandise.
The list goes on and on. Teams make Millions of dollars per game.
i dont think its gonna be a cake walk for you guys.... and it does not matter.. your never gonna get to the national championship. the wac is not a tough conference an va tech lost and the beavers arnt gonna fair well in the pac ten this year. so when the bcs computers come in your gonna get skrewed.

i agree. and i like boise state i watch every game of theirs thats on national tv. i dont think their fiesta bowl wins or undefeated seasons were "flukes"but they do not play the same talent that say Oklahoma plays week in and week out. yeah there is a real good chance that boise would beat oklahoma on saturday if they played. but if they had to play a Big 12 schedule chances are they would not go undefeated. yeah they would still be a great team but they would not go undefeated.
i think boise is really good and on a neutral field could beat just about anyone in college football. but at the same time i really do think alabama would hand them an asswhooping right now if they were to face each other in the NCG. but i think alabama would also destroy some bad NFL teams.
really the biggest misjustice is to boise and really all of college football is that there is not a playoff system. it would make everything so much easier. but there is just too much money made with how the system is set up right now and i dont see it changing.
oh and the other "good" teams have hard schedules? honestly thats the worst bullshit excuse people have continuously used to hate on a really talented football team. Take #6 Nebraska for example (who only beat South Dakota State by 14 today).
-South Dakota State
Lets see.... ONE HARD GAME! One god team: Texas. Actually, on second thought texas isnt even that good. They got raped by UCLA today. So Nebraska plays NO good teams, TWO less than BSU.
Whats 180 + 90? takes kids like 5 seconds im like BOOM NIGGA! 270, pretzel out.
