How do you get rid of anger and stress?

For the last 3 years its been building up and I have no way of getting it out. The shit causing it is beyond my control and there is nothing i can do except deal with it, which i cannot accept.

It makes my mood shitty and doesnt make me a happy person in general, and doing shrooms last night brought it all down on me.


P.S smoking weed doesn't work, i do that everyday and its only a mask.

grab a longboard, bike, or your feet and just cruise around town for awhile. i do this alot, plug my tunes in and just wander around and think. sometimes i sit in a park and watch the cars and people go by. its a good release for me. and i bring my camera, thats a really good outlet for me. if you liike snappin pictures i suggest it

but srsly, take up boxing or join a boxing/fighting gym, its a way to vent by kicking the shit out if people, and after the work outs youll be too tired to be angry. or just find something you enjoy doing and try to forget everything that makes you mad

Exercise. I've really been hating my job lately. I work with a bunch of people who don't give a shit about their work quality, and I feel like I'm the only one who does.

Jumping on my mountain bike and riding till my legs quit is SUCH a huge stress reliever.

Just tonight, I climbed Snowbird. Yes, parking lot to Hidden Peak. And I feel F'n spectacular.

Not only does it release and ton of endorphins, it's a boost of confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

go for a bike ride down some long steep hills, take in your surroundings, and think about all the things you have to make you happy, that many people take for granted. (decent housing, not starving, plus all of your privileges like skiing and even being on this website.) also like somebody said, find a relaxing song on your ipod and go lay in your backyard or look at the stars at night. or even take a nap or go to bed early and get a good nights sleep.

Thanks for reminding me.

Sleep is huge too. If I get 8 hours of sleep, NOTHING can put me in a bad mood. I feel super refreshed and much happier.

Of course, I haven't had a single day off since July, so sleep is at a minimum. (waking at 5AM every day), so I've relied on exercise more often.

I run. I throw a pair of headphones on, crank up the music and run until my body gives up. I tend to do extreme sports too, it keeps my mind off the world and keeps me focused on the present and how much it matters. Its depends on your interests

I have to chanel anger/stress into something, sometimes I write. Sometimes I go longboarding. Oh and buy a bunching bag. My best friend Brandon has one...I go to his house when i'm angry. Oh and I jump around and stomp on stuff

Try cycling man. Just ride a bicycle down a road until you're too tired to remember what pissed you off. Whenever I hate the world I walk out of the door and just go somewhere. You can stop in another town, have a snack, and just sit on a bench somewhere, and then ride back. There's something soothing and fulfilling about traveling at a pretty decent speed under your own power. So whip out that old mountain bike every teen has/had, put on some skinny tires, and start peddling.

Listen to music and reminisce on the amazing times i have had when i have seen live music. This is mainly to get rid of stress if i'm angry ill usually talk to a good friend and reason shit out and try to realize why I am angry or figure out how to deal with it.

i'm kinda feeling that everything thats been said so far are just temporary shit thats good until you go to sleep then you just wake up in the morning stressed as fuck for another day.

depending on what it is thats been building you up over the past 3 years and stressing you out, if there is anything at all you can do about it just fucking do it. if its a shitty job or something just quit and find another one coz if you feel the last 3 years have been shit then its not going to get any better.
