its all a big consiparcy by magazines like 'ski'...they needed a new catch phrase so they figured out a plan to invent snowboarding so that 20 years later when skiing would catch on again it would be considerd 'cool'

Snowblades are 'gay' because if you add another say 70-100cm it enables you to do even more on the skis than possible with snowblades. Say you wanted to try a huge 1080 on a table. Impossible with snowblades, but with skis, you can give it a try. Thus making snowblades 'gay', but personally I don't care if anyone snowblades, it's there choice to be 'gay' or straight by riding longer skis.

snowblading is gay, i despise it

1. it's impossible to have nice style on them because it makes you look like shit
2. you don't use poles so your flailing your arms around everywhere, which makes you look gay
3. on snowblades tricks are easier, then the snowbladers think they're better than you because they did something on snowblades that you didn't do on skis, that's when you shoot them in the fucking head
