indoor goalies have sooooo much padding.... all outdoor goalies have is a thin chest protector and a neck protector and a giant stick.... being a goalie hurts, a lot. So if your gonna play net, be sure you are ready for some serious pain

if ur a goalie...the most thing ur going to use is ur shin pad to block bounce shots and our coach aways makes us aim for the goalie's knees because its the hardest place for him to react (coach is a goalie)...dude just play attack...barely run what so ever...and Middy is were its at..score and play kick ass defense..chill!

A field goalie will wear a helmet w/ neck guard, regular gloves with thumb caps, a chest protector and a cup. You won't be hit as much as these kids make it sound like, especially once you progress. The less your afraid of the ball and learn to step to and position well the less you will be hit. When you are hit, its one of those walk it off dull pain deals. Not that bad.

I say go for it man, field lacrosse is an amazing sport.
