in this thread you can ask questions you have about skiing that aren't big enough to make a thread about. ill start with: how long does it take for a windells edit to come out once the session ends?
or will next years saga be insulated, or just a shell?
I don't use a file. Try a sanding sponge. It kind of conforms to the edges to give a more rounded feel to them, plus it's less hard on the edges in the first place & it's soft so you can take it with you skiing (if you need to detune more on the hill, you can). They're dirt cheap too.
I detune the areas from a bit ahead the tip of my toepiece to the same distance away from the back of the heel piece.
So I always wear Holden Skinny standards in dark khaki. But then I either wear
L Saga Collegiate insulated hoodie in black with an Airblaster coaches jacket
or
Jiberish Blacklist Lohi and Causwell Guide vest.
But I need a jacket and I didn't want to be that guy, because I hate that guy. Just something choice based on that sort of style, if ya feel what I like to wear.
Is David Wise mormon? He's married with a kid at 22 and doesn't seem to be too into the party scene so it got me thinking... I don't even know why this is relevant I've just always wondered if there were mormon pro skiers what with SLC being ski heaven and mormon central.
Shorter but more creative runs compared to bigger, faster runs. It could also be hiking a rail:the whole park as hiking a small cliff/pillow line:the whole run
try emailing the company you tried to buy from. did you ever get a receipt email when you made the purchase? if no, then your order probably just didnt go through for some reason and youve been waiting for something you never ordered.
I called them and emailed them a few times when i placed my order and nothing came through. The guy eventually replied and apologized for taking so long and said my outer had been speed but i never got any tracking number or anything. Three whole thing seemed kinda shady. I don't know if its tsp's fault or the super or what but at the end of the day I'm still out $35 with nothing to show for
*order *shipped *the *shipper. I'm on mobile sorry. And again the guy was really chill about it through his email and i still have respect for tsp and everything, i just want my stuff!
I'd ask for some kind of confirmation/tracking number. they should understand if it's been a month or more, plus you're the one supporting their company.
On an unrelated note, why do groomers leave rivets in the snow? Does it help edges grab better? All I know is it feels better under my feet than ice.
So i emailed them and this nice guy by the name of justin brodin was super cool about it. He apologized for the wait and said it must've gotten lost in the mail and that they would ship out another package with extra stuff. I'm glad to be supporting such a legit company
how do i improve the snugness/fit of my fultilts? . i got the right size, my toe meets the tip nicely and i put extra 1cm foam boards under the liners along with two foam inserts on each toe, a half an instert behind each ankle and my old racing booster straps. cables are also max tightness but whenever i land switch hard, or land backseat i can feel my foot slide uncomfortably out of place.(usually up and down and sometimes very slightly back and fourth resulting in slight toe bang). please help this is starting to effect my skiing
sounds like your foot just doesnt really fit the boot. i would take that stuff out and go to see a reputable bootfitter who can do custom footbeds, exxplain you situation and see about getting custom footbeds as it sounds like you're getting heel lift. it might be that your ankle shape isnt right for full tilts though. when you say you got the right size you might have got a boot of the right length but the width, volume and general foot shape of the full tilts might not be for you.
