i played a game with the ball, the ref thought it would be a good idea. so he gave each team the ball before the game so we could get a feel for it, cuz its different, we passed it around a bit, it felt cheap. so we start the game and we fire it to the other goalie (he was out of the net a bit) and it looked like a ping pong ball so random in the air. the goalie got it, but it showed everyone what it is actually like. both teams didn't want to play with it after seeing that shot. but we did, that game was hilarious, so many goals, both goalies couldn't stop the "ping pong ball". the game was 7-6. oh and there was not to much wind during the game.

god i hated the fevernova style. Too heavy in my opinion. I still love the tango/tricolore style. Probably my favorite out of all of them, though i do actually like the +teamgeist because i'm now used to it.

plus they were actual balls. You could put them where you wanted, and they were predictable. None of this new molded technology shit that apparently doesn't need to follow everything you know about physics and gravity

yea, but the problem is that now even a light shot can easily rocket at you. With the tangos/fevernovas, if someone hit that hard at you, it took some doing.

though i do in some ways like saving the lighter new balls, because you can easily get a hand or even fingertips to them that push the ball off course, whereas if it was a fevernova shot at the same speed and same place, it probably would  just break your wrist.

He's saying, half the time, baseball is fucking boring. You're sitting in the hot sun, frying your face off.. eating a hot dog that normally would cost 50 cents if you made it at home, but now it costs 5 bucks... Waiting for some guys to come out and do something.

Ahh yes. I didn't mention that in my argument because I couldnt figure out why americans liked watching it. Now that I've thought about though I think the general liking of baseball started before we were about instant satisfaction, so thats kinda like the foundation and it's really built upon as a cultural thing just like soccer is to other countries. Our dads teach up baseball, take us to the ball park. many people that go to baseball games don't even like baseball that much, I know alot of them including myself go for the atmosphere of the "old park" and the food and people and excitement that goes with it.

so yeah it's not instant satisfaction but it's a different kind of excitement and enjoyment of the game than the prior sports mentioned. Most of the complaints about soccer are also about how "pussy" it is or unphysical it is compared to other sports in our country and how "nothing happens' I think someone from germany would feel much the same way about baseball games as americans feel about soccer. If you haven't grown up in that culture you wouldn't feel that type of excitement for the game.

Half the time I'm TOTALLY bored with baseball and I just want the team to hit a damn home run so I can be satisfied with my 30$ ticket and my 5$ beer and my 4.50$ hot dog... but i'll tell you, being an A's fan, watching a team that thrives off of strong pitching and defense and living in a pitchers park, I have seen MANY 1-0 and 2-0 and 2-1 games in my life, where most of the scoring came on boring stuff like sac flys and small ball. But I dont care. I still have fun, and its still exciting...

Same thing with hockey... Growing up going to sharks games back when Ties were still around? I had gone to more than my fair share of 1-1 and 0-0 ties.... now while most retards on ESPN like... your Jim Rome and Toby Cornheisers out there will say they hate that because its 'like kissing your sister' they need to get it into their fucking idiot skulls that sports are not all about fucking going to the game to see your team win... you go to the game because its exciting and you get to enjoy something you like. Soccer is the epitome of a sport where the skill and the play is why you go to the game, and watch the game.

and thank god now some americans are starting to realize that the shit those guys do with the ball is about as easy as a quadruple lutz in figure skating, and hopping a 16' bar in pole faulting... its miles beyond the same crossover moves you see in basketball these days...

Trust me... i'd like to see any of you have the hand-foot/head coordination to pull off the shit that zidane and ronaldinho and ibrahimovic and any of those guys can do. It's fucking amazing, and I love watching it on the world stage..

i wouldnt say i like them, but i would much rather prefer them over flopping. faking injury is feeble as fuck
