2003 yz 250, fmf cold series all the way around, bored to to 280cc new cylinder head, piston etc. bitch screams like a kid getting rapped. not to mention its eats 450 fs for lunch.

Its great but it took alot of work to get the suspention dialed. now its amazing. ive been racing every wensday night.

Dont get that bike. If your going Four-Stroke Go with a 400 or 450.


Im 5'9" and ride a KTM EXC 400 and its not to powerful or big at all. You will be dissapointed trying to ride a 250f with riders on 2stroke 250s and 4stroke 450s

I was gonna get the crf250r but it was a tiny bit big for me and I was still recovering from a broken leg so I got the crf150rb instead. I love my bike, hopefully get alot of riding done this summer!

i rode a 250f for 2 years, they just dont cut it, they can be faster than a 450 in a single track if you ride them right, but the problem with that is the valves get destroyed. I had to do 4 valve jobs in 2 years

I just bought a 1991 honda xr80r, having never ridden a bike before and i got it super cheap. soo fun, and can't wait till i have the coin to get a crf250x and make that shit street legal. the little 80 has a ton of power actually, just a bit small

Im happy we can all at least agree that 4strokes rape 2 strokes. Except if its wide open type riding. Hill climbs and single track 4 stroke all the way.

ktm 150sx..... rapes 250 f's. Also, the new kawasaki 250 f's are amazing. the suspension can soak up anything and the thing screams. for trails i would go ktm
