Jobs For Teenagers.

i'm 15 and i need a job for the summer, i turn 16 at the end of August and at 16 you can work at most major places around here. but i just need something for until i turn 16. i don't want to work at a fast food chain because all of my friends that have worked there said they hated their life after. serious answers only please.

lol I know your not upper class.  Niether is miller place. our schools are about the same size.  Idk what to tell you.  LI is a hard place to find jobs right now. Especially under 16.  Try to work for the town or something

I do a lot of bus trips to vermont.  SPend a week in PA and a coupke of weekends at killington.  But since I Have my license now Im going to buy a season pass to creek.  Or maybe somewhere in Mass.  But idk  Mass or vt i Would have to take the port jeff ferry

I know you said a fast food place would suck, but you have to take what you can get because at 15 you can't be to picky. You have no experience in the work place so that right there is a major turn off for employers. Take what job you can get and maybe next summer you can try for a job you will like better.
I'm 15 to and I got my summer job at a hotel pool. Super boring I just sit around all day folding towels, but you get paid and get some real experience to put on your resume.

At 15, pretty much nothing. I'm 19 and I couldn't find a job last summer and just barely got one this summer because I knew someone. It sucks dude, but finding a job these days is not easy. They are going to want experience. If you can't find a job, ask if you can volunteer to do some stuff. It will help you get a job later.

What the hell kind of country club do you caddy at? I'm pulling off a $30 round. Work at a bike shop if you are into biking, not the best pay but getting everything at cost is sooo sick.

I'm interested in doing this. I'm 14 almost 15, with working papers. What do you need to have for that job? Like a general knowledge of golf and other stuff like that? Also how did you get the job, like did you just go to the place and asked if they had any job opening or was it through connections?

yeah caddy seems like a good idea, but it's too late in the season the club already has all there caddies. i will definitely look into it next year. i might have a job at sunken meadow park if not i'll probably just take mcdonalds.

i just slayed the registration thing. it took about two hours, but i just blazed a bit and got it over with.

the only problem is you have to be 18+ and a US citizen.

lie about what part?
they ask for you SS number later in the registration, so i doubt you could lie about that. i guess you could pretend to be your father or mother or something.
but no cell phone service is required, it just takes a computer and a decent internet connection.
