mrskier made a comment in another thread in which he stated that JOSS was a bad event and it's just a bunch of shitty park skiers. He went on to say that a better event was the red bull coldrush because it took actual skiing skills. Much hate ensued.
Anyway it sparked an idea in my brain. What if there was a backcountry event where skiers gathered for 2 weeks at Retallack. Guys like Sean Petit, Dane Tudor, Sage Cattabriga, Timmy D, Dana Flahr, Rory Bushfield, James Heim and Mark Abma were invited and for 2 weeks they threw down on massive booters, pillows and cliffs galore. Filmers were invited to capture these amazing moments and at the end of the 2 weeks they submitted a 5 minute edit to be judged. The winning team gets a cash prize.
It would be the Retallack Super Sessions.
