Gold Project: Mount Snow vs Stowe?

Hey everyone!

I'm bad at making decisions so I figured I'd see what the general public has to say. We're currently trying to figure out our game plan for this coming weekend what with a few last call jams going on. Sunday is an easy decision as Stratton is the only thing happening. Saturday on the other hand leaves us with two options. We're in between heading to Stowe or heading to Mount Snow. Any thoughts? Anybody got the inside scoop on what's being set up? Where do you guys think the place to be is?

Regardless of where we go I'm real stoked for this weekend! Can't wait to get back out on snow and do some shooting. This will be the last Gold Project update of the 09.10 winter season and we should be ending it with a banger as we're going to be working in collaboration with the Juice man Joey Szela and Chase Martin of Dayzed Productions. Both guys kill it with their cameras and should add a lot to the update.

So. Thoughts? Mount Snow vs. Stowe. Go!

Definitely come to Stowe. If the two are anything like last years Stowe will blow Mt. Snow out of the water/snow. (yay for rhyming)

I would def go to STowe cAUSE last year as you know, mount snow had 2 featueres when stowe had a whole lane of stuff set up. stowe for sure. but you never know mount snow might pull it togther this year

don't be a fool galin, stowe! support the mountain that needs it! mt. snow will continue to have good parks, so give stowe an incentive to up their game!

Just talked with Gaitor about the setup at Mount Snow for Saturday.  He hasn't decided on everything yet but there will definitely be a rhythm section and he mentioned the roller coaster box for sure.  He is going to start building on Thursday night so I'll give more of an update on Friday.

Mount Snwo does have a hefty pile. but a third of it loosk like its dirt. Stowe's got 2 strips of clean thick snow. I'd say Stowe is the place to be.

stowe. it was so sick last year and no doubt it will be just as good this year. they had two lanes with 8ish features last year, probably something very similar this year.

Galin let's go to whatever is closer to a good place to stay and stratton the next day. I don't know that much about getting around vermont so it's your call. BUT, just saying, we all don't ski well when we're sleepy.

The game plan is to crash at my place in Killington on Saturday night so if you're planning on shredding both days you're welcome to stay there.

Word I think I'll take you up on that offer for sure. And in my opinion I'd say stowe. Last year it had a much better set up with 2 lanes where mount snow just had like 3 rails. Also, if we do go to stowe we could maybe stop by the stowe dirt jump park and possibly film a bit there.

We just got word from Gaitor about the setup at Mount Snow.  We'll have a rainbow box and roller coaster box in the rhythm section.  Flat box and down rail (round bar) setup on another line and possibly a small jump somewhere. 

Weather is looking pretty good so we look forward to seeing everyone there.

Setup for Saturdays Peace Pipe Jam - rainbow box & roller coaster box in rhythm section, flat box & down rail in other line & possible jump about 4 hours ago

if snow has a jump they get my bid but with their piles not sure its a tough one...
