Im going to Liberty Mountian Snoflux to ski and ride. Thier main jump looks like 45 feet or so and it puts you up decently high. I want to throw my first double back there but holy fuck im scarred. Any tips or suggestions?
I've never been, but I live in DC and should be heading up in a week or so. From what I've heard, it is in fact softer than landing on snow. Also, I've heard it's extremely easy to progress your jump game, because the kicker/landing is the exact same every time and you don't have to worry about variable speed, snowpack, etc. Lastly, I saw a vid of a guy do a double back somewhere on here, so it's definitely possible. Check around and see if you can find it so you can get a feel for how much you have to huck
its deff not 45 feet (more like 30-35) youd have to go real big to stomp a dub back w/o hucking it but yea liberty is wayy softer than snow but sometimes you hit dry/wet spots so one ski with be fast and the other always stops its weird
i just don't got enough money to be a camper cuz im paying for college straight outta my pocket right now. I am going to go and do them for sure if they have open sessions again at the end of summer like they used too. I just don't really want to wait, u know? Just gots doing dubs on my mind everyday.
