Hellbents VS Bacons

So I could pick up 2010 hellbents for a good deal, or wait for the 2011 bacons and pay a lot more.

Two very different skis though.. Hellbent is a bit fatter, has regular sidecut and full rocker. While the 2011 SFBs are bit narrower, have early taper, and as far as I've understood it has camber underfoot (might even be flat underfoot) with early rise in the tip and tail.

This all depends on what kinda ski you like I guess. But by normal terms I would say the SFBs will be more versatile, while the bents will probably be better in blower powder (although the SFB also handles that pretty damn well from what I've heard)

I'm getting 2011 SFBs with Dukes as my do it all ski for next year..

Bents.
I would rather ski them over SFBs anywhere.  Where bents suck, SFBs suck worse.  Groomers are really easy on bents IMO, much better and more fun than SFBs.  Also powder on SFBs seemed borring to me which I wasn't expecting, the rocker will help but I would never buy a pair of bacons.  Both are soft but bents are much more stable than I would have thought in many cases.

I'm 6'3 so I feel like I'd like the full sidecut on the K2s, do you agree?

Maby.

I'm 6'1" and I ski 202 Lotus 138s, I love reverse sidecut.  That being said if a ski has much normal sidecut or camber at all then even if it's heavily tapered it still doesn't have that reverse sidecut feel.
 I was assuming you were shorter than me.  I can't imagine being on SFBs while being a few inches taller than me.  Bents still work for larger people who like soft skis.

You could also look into 191 Caylors.  Rowen was making them look good in the park, and I'd assume they'd be like a lighter slightly stiffer, way more poppy Hellbent comparing the two in park.  Bents were fun in park but too heavy, so it seems like Caylors would fix that
