I am currently a rep for 4frnt, and am not to happy with there product. aka both my friends 4frnts broke last year. moment already said that their rep sots were filled, which company should i try to get a rep job with? surface, rmu, or some other company, trying to keep it with small companies that i can get stoked about.
yeah, I see it more this way...he's not outing 4frnt on something that no one else knows about, they make awesome powder and big-mountain skis...their park skis are a different story, it's a pretty well know fact. He's simply saying he's not happy and looking for something better, if anyone is unhappy with their job and willing to pursue something better they shouldn't be held back because of that, they should be pushed further. I'd look into Amplid and Liberty, both super legit companies that need more good reps out there - good luck man.
Reps can be a lot of things, but in general, you promote a certain brand, get paid usually on some sort of commission. You become the local "________" guy, and are the liaison for that brand in that area. And no, you work outside shops, but as it usually doesnt pay much, most work some other job, and a shop is a good fit usually.
