actually, it's decriminalized in Boulder and it is medically legal. at least half of the people there had their medical cards; are you trying to tell me that the cops were going to check to see if 10,000+ people could legally smoke and then write fines for those who couldn't legally.

Grow the fuck up, it's 2010, weed isn't a fucking illegal drug.

false.

weed is completely illegal for those who:
A. don't have a medical card, and
B. don't live in a place where it is decriminalized

weed is very much illegal, although i do not think that it should be, it is. i don't smoke weed, i never have and don't really plan on it in the future. although i have no first hand content with it, i am around weed almost every day due to friends buying/selling or smoking themselves.

weed is illegal, and that is not possible to contest. the controversial and debatable subject is whether it should be or not.

uhhh yea, but we are talking about Boulder where this gathering took place. 

A.  most people their cards, and as lawlz. said it would be absurd to trying to check all 10,000+ and give tickets which is why they dont.
B. we DO live in a place where it is decriminalized

Its impossible to OD on weed^^^. Any way good to see so many people out, I live in ottawa so I was at parliament hill, so many people out there too. It's funny cause most cops are either fine with it or high themselves. Funny story: at 420 a cop asked me to go to where he was, the whole time i was smoking a joint, and he was just like no longboarding on the hill,

5 deaths.. that's 5 more than the amount of deaths from weed in the history of the universe. obviously they were abusing another substance. and adam, it was the same here in vancouver. what are the cops gonna do, take 10,000 people down to the station? they are there in case fights break out or in case there's some kind of emergency - in that case, everything goes smoothly.

Yeah for having a name like geteducated, that guy is sure pretty dumb. I'm not sure what voluntarily has to do with it. I'm pretty sure every social group is formed pretty voluntarily. Except maybe nazi's or something...

I can't think of any way a drug culture could form involuntarily haha its not like you smoke weed and instantly your hair turns to dreads haha

Yeah I see where you're coming from. Trust me, I live in boulder so I'm around that shit alllll the time its pretty annoying.

Its mainly because people smoke it once or twice and are all like "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED SIIIIIIICK!!!!"

then they buy a bunch of hemp and some birkenstocks maybe a weed hoodie or something.

The kids I know that smoke the most you would never know they smoke.

probably not, because you sound like a closed minded individual who cannot think for themselves on certain matters where rules are enforced. sometimes the legality of certain issues should not come up, marijuana prohibition is a pointless agenda, and therefore people peacefully protest. hating on weed for the fact that it is illegal is fucking stupid in my opinion. have you ever gotten drunk? because if so you have broken the law and done a "drug" just as much as if you had smoked a joint.

I think the reason why people make such a big deal about cannabis sativa is that in order to make it legal, again, you need to get it out there more. You know? Get it publicized more and show that it truly isn't harmful and that even though it's illegal people still rage against the machine. I think that's why people make such a big deal about it.
