you are correct. all of our boats are fiberglass vhull ski boats. a corvette inboard w race motor, four hydrodynes one with twin 250 Mercury's, one with 2 200 Mercury's, and two with single 225 Merc's. these boats go up and down rivers all summer long. primarily the mississippi & the rock river. that stream in the video isn't even a real river ;)
do you happen to know the manufacturer of that jet boat in the OP? I'd like to look it up.
all of the jet boats that I've ever seen are basically souped up jet skis with more of a boat like hull. i would think that 3/4" or 1/2" aluminum or stainless steel would be kind of heavy and really impact performance considering their propulsion systems. jet boats aren't exactly famous for cranking out massive amounts of horsepower.
