No actually I don't. It is certainly a tough trick, but I think that the more difficult dubs especially now with dub grabs, are more difficult and technical than a switch 12 octo.
so a switch 12 is better than a switch dub misty 1440 and a dub cork 16? (which, by the way, was thrown by tj for the first time in x-games, the most pressure an athlete can be under)
this trick was done in 07 for the first time and no one else than Charles have done since then. Why?????
because the trick is simply too tech, trust me you will see someone else next year do a dub 16 and a sw dub misty but you are not gonna see a sw 12 octo
i disagree but i do feel like more people should be grabbing octo's and it would be nice to see someone try it in a dub cord since it goes with the momentum..and an "octo" grab itself is a dub grab
you kinda answered your own question sort of, no one has done it because a switch dub misty or dub 16 is more tech. people would rather learn the best tricks not switch octo 12s.
spice in a bit of dub then it'd be insane. but everyone knows this dude is just being a jackass in order to try to create a long list of responses. no one is really that retarded.
I saw a 13 year old do a switch 10 octo at breck this year...the reason you don't see it is cus it takes to much air time to get it around to do it on anything except a really big jump. And since most doubles are harder, and they score higher, the pros do that.
No, he didn't, point is, sw 12 octo, isn't near as hard as sw dub misty 14 or dub cork 16. It isn't even in the ball park. I'm sure Bobby and TJ could both do sw 12 octo held until they landed on their fingers. Along with Tom, Henrik, Jossi, Andreas...and about twenty others.
that's where you're wrong, the only person who could do it but it wouldnt look good would be Anders Bcke but thats it, you cant just do a sw 12 octo like, it takes a lot more practice than all the dubs.
only difference between this and an octo is his right hand would have to go to tail, which really isn't that much harder when you tweak that hard.
TJs bow and arrow is just as hard as an octo grab imo, just different.
Grabbing octo really isn't that hard if you are flexible. No grab is really that hard. Doing octo with a sw 12 is hard, but really if you can do a sw 14 with any other double grab, you would be okay.
you really think that a guitar is the same difficulty as a octo??? if so you are really stupid. Sw 14 guitar would not even be as hard as a sw 12 octo.
You're an idiot. I never said guitar was easier than octo, but look at how tweaked THAT guitar is, he literally would have to move his hand 12 inches. Not much harder to turn THAT guitar grab into an octo.
I have to agree with you, sw 12 octo is too hard. For double corks it takes balls and technique also, but you can practice them on waterramps and tramps, compair to a sw 12 octo where you can't. Takes more practice and skills to do a sw 12 octo. im sure that other people can agree with me on that!
No, it is that easy. Every single thing you do on skis is something turned into something else.
I don't think this will work but if it does....
compare where his skis are to bobby's guitar, or any heavily tweaked nose/mute grab. Once you have the skis set, moving your arms isn't that hard. The hardest part about octo grabs is the flexibility it takes.
