Hey guys, im actually in Boulder for the first time right now checking out the university. From what ive seen in two days, the town seems pretty cool, and the campus and surrounding area is really beautiful.
Has anyone gone to CU or know someone who went, that has gone to the school or been on CUFST that could give me some advice/opinion on how it was?
I know there are some threads on this already but most of them are old, so please help me out!
I'm an officer for CUFST next year! I would definitely do it. CUFST has nothing to do with being good, but everything to do with loving skiing and partying and wanting to learn from and shred with a lot of really chill and like-minded people.

depends on the person... cu is a really fun place, with lots of people, so you are likely to find your crowd, but the school def isnt for everyone. Its easy to get lost, so I would only come here if you want an adventure. My experience is that it is really hard to find a balance here. It is easy to party a lot and have lots of fun... which takes a toll on your grades, but when you put more time into school it is harder to keep your social life going. That said, I am an ee major so depending on what you want to study, you might have a different experience.
a good friend will bail you out of jail, a best friend is the guy sitting next to you saying, "damn that was fun"
exactly, i didnt join cause i dont need a team to ski, but i do ski with a bunch of kids on the team and theyre cool, so its up to you. CU is a pretty cool school, lots of parties, but also a lot of douchebag frat bros and spoiled kids. but you can find cool people. i have about 50 days this year but the drive to the mountains sucks. its a cool state school but it is lacking in some things, just dont come here expecting to ski everyday. im a little drunk right now so that my help your decision haha.
