Would you hate on me?

Whats up with all the hate?  Its hard to understand that when people are sucking it up in vids on here, then you post them and hate on them?  I can understand when people try to afterbang after pulling a 180 but when people fall off a urban setup then laugh, why are people hating on them? https://newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/533687/page/1/

(Not as much the first vid, the kid there looks like a douche, but the second)

I suck at skiing compared to basically everyone on here, I can barely pull down a 3 (I only got to go skiing twice this season and this was my first real year skiing park, lost my season pass cause I hit a mailbox with my car on accident) 
I can sometimes 270 off rails, I cant do urban, but I still own some nice shit.  But I do know alot about skiing, I follow skiing comps as much as I can, and I love watching skiing edits.  Would NS hate on me?

it doesnt seem like anyone was making fun of the 2nd video more only the 1st because like you said that kid seems like a fag. Anyways all that matters is that you have fun skiing and that you dont worry what everyone else thinks about you

im with you man. i suck at park since last year was my first year there. can barely do a 3 much less tricks jibbin. haters can hate at least i know i suck and i try hard just cuz i find it fun and challenging. take solace in the fact that on the rest of the mountain we can own

im exactly the same as you. i went to windells thinking i knew how to ski, but i got there and realized how much i was lacking. i ended up learning how to ski (correctly) there, in addition to 180's and just how to hit a jump in general. after that, i became enthralled by park and freeski in general. i can do 180s, a few grabs, and i cant hit a rail (let alone a box) worth shit. but i can drop cliffs, hit some jumps, and ski pow as good as any other ns'er here. but i also wear tall tees, sagged beanies, sagged pants, and i have a pair of crowbars and i do wear them under my helmet. i wear those things because i like the look. i dont wear the exact same shit that pros wear, in fact, i dislike people who go seek out the same setup as the pros. i went to every ski movie premier in my town, and i own refresh, sfsh, and edias. i also went to the xgames and watched big air and slopestyle. i follow dew tour, joss, joi, free flow, and xgames among other comps. i know the names of tricks, how they are set, and what rotations and flips they contain. i know how skis are made, i know the parts of a ski, and the parts of a binding, but yet, i still receive condescending looks daily from kids at my mountain and at school (although in high school i think most kids kid hateful looks at least once a week no matter who you are.) i shouldnt care, but i do. considering ive been skiing for only about five years, i think im doing pretty good. but since when was all of this not good enough to receive recognition and even approval from my peers? i guess i should just let the haters hate and allow karma to bite them in the ass.

thsi is my first year and i can do urban and pretty much any rail... most jumps i can 3 most of the time... i learned basic rail tricks and shit but i still get hate... im having fun is that such a bad thing??

I think even though alot of people will hate on you just for having nice stuff and not having a huge bag of tricks as long as you keep a good attitude and be gratefull for the stuff you have you will find people will be alot more accepting of you.

After watching that video, I have had a change of heart.  If haters out there can create that kind of RAGE I want them to hate as much as they can.

This wasnt really a will you hate on me, it was a more of a why would you hate on me? (without the whole "whiny bitch" thing) What good reason is there to hate on people who are just enjoying themselves and who admit they suck? (yet again, minus whiny bitch thing.)

oh those guys. yea. they bother me. but i still don't hate on them. just pick on them a little, like this one guy at my mountain, dresses exactly like Simon Dumont (down to the poles and skis) and can't do jack shit. so everyone yells stuff like "we love you Simon!" and he totally looses it and chases people around trying to smash them with his poles. its pretty funny. but any hoo.
