funny. i was going to say buy toms instead, they donate a pair of shoes for every purchase made of their shoes... then i went to the site for the link and found this campaign... and i have to say i'd rather buy a pair of shoes or send them a cheque for 400$ than walk around montreal barefoot.

sigh.....dont make ignorant comments like that

there arent crack needles "all over the place" come on. these places where kids dont have shoes are places where they are walking around in streets with small little puddles and little streams of water everywhere. you know whats in that water? fucking fieces from animals and humans, garbage and disease of every kind. that's everyday on every street in these undeveloped areas. not to mention they dont have anywhere near 10$ (which would feed them for months, not an exaggeration) to go to walmart or the salvation army/goodwill to buy some sort of footwear.

today i was high, and asked my friend what would life be like if i walked around with no shirt or shoes, he said awesome.  i randomly found this shit, still high as tits, and am amazed.  tomorrow will be spent shoeless.

i stepped on a rusty hook once. that sucked. my freind stepped on a nail and it went all the way through his foot. i go barefoot when i'm in a place that is nice for that. not in the city.

i know a guy who works construction, a guy bet him 500 dollars that he couldnt go a full year without wearing any form of foot coverage....this included working on construction sites in -15 F weather and shit in vermont. he won the bet.

I was totally going to do this when I heard about it and it was like 70 something degrees outside, but now it is back to 37 and wet out. Fuck that, I feel bad for the people without shoes, but I am not about to be one in this weather.

lol chill out I understand their lstandard of livng is 100 times worse than our here in north america but not wearing shoes for a day will accomplish nothing i dunno maybe it makes someone feel good about themselves (that person is fucked) maybe if this was a thread about a campaign asking for donations for footwear but come on

and I lived in this apartment last year and most mornings there were needles in our parking lot and i can find places downtown where theres a high chance thers gunna be needles

people living in new york or any other city would have it worse or just as bad if we didnt wear shoes for a day

also the human foot doesnt need shoes unless you wear shoes get what im sayin if people never wore shoes ur feet would get used to it im not sayin their feet r immune but some kid who hasnt worn shoes for a couple years prolly doesnt even mind that much any more r feet r sensitive and ticklish try tickling a poor little indian boys feet he wont laugh they are hard as hide

you would get spit on if you walked up to a starving asian family and were like "dont worry man i didnt wear shoes on april 6th, I know what your going through and I've done my part"
