I just wanted to make one last thread before my priveleges get taken away for probably a month and i wont be on.

so basically i got fucked, she came home and said she smelled it and saw me and my friend in the backyard.

I have a
-job
-3.8 gpa
-girlfriend

and any list minute tips or hints or like facts or videos i can use to maybe get her a little less mad?

Tell her to go fuck herself. This is 2010. You have amazing grades, are maturing steadily with a girlfriend and you just happen to like to relax by inhaling the combusted form of a completely naturally growing plant.

If she's mad at you for doing something illegal you should understand that. But tell her you were doing it in the safety of your own home and you weren't out getting blasted and driving drunk and really getting in trouble. This should be a time when your parents sit down with you and actually talk to you like an adult, instead they'll treat you like a child and continue this cycle of naivete and secretiveness.

I'VE GOT ONE you should use for any minor drugz thingys you get caught up in..:

You should point out all the drugs they think are harder than weed that you can do even if they're testing you that they wouldn't find out about.  Fun things like acid mushies 2c-b and ketamine, along with things like piperazines and dxm and pcp(those two do extra brain damage. pretty sure even pretty detailed tests(not at home ones) don't check), and how horrible things like meth only show up a few days in tests.
 After you point out the fact that your GPA is too good and you only smoke small amounts on occasion on times when it won't effect school or anything that is.

That sounds like a terrible fucking idea. Make your parents think you know about ketamine, 2c's, pcp, meth and whatnot and then they REALLY start to wonder just what the fuck is up with you.

To OP. I can't say this will work but it sounds like your situation is very similar to mine when I crossed that road a few years back. My parents are staunch conservative christian republicans. Basically they believed I was smoking the devil weed. They threatened me, told me I was going to ruin my life. I laid it out like this.

I sat them down and calmly explained that I had been smoking multiple times a day for the past 6 months. So they shouldn't think this was a one time thing (like most kids getting caught tell their parents) I had a 3.9 gpa, I was on the varsity soccer team, I had a job that I worked 30-40 hours per week, and I still did everything they asked of me at home. I basically said cannabis did nothing for me but help me relax and wind down from all the shit I do during the week. And if they continued to have a problem with it and they were going to try to do something about my habit, then that was going to disrupt my life far more than a stupid plant was.

be smart and just play it cool as if you know damn sure what you were doing, and it wasn't an accident.

tell them you know the dangers of smoking marijuana, and you choose to take the risk. inform them of your responsible decision making prior to and after smoking marijuana. inform them you are aware of the legality issues, but you are optimistic that laws are finally changing.

after a while, parents who are really against it....tend to stay that way, in which case they are fuck heads, or they accept it to a certain degree.

Hang in there bro, everybodies explanations are good, just make a combination of the dangers of smoking, legalization issues, and THAT YOU ARE SMOKING IN THE SAFETY OF YOUR OWN HOME! Also, say that smoking CLEARLY does not affect your grades and that you have a extremely succesful academic life. Lastly, start packing lips, its the shit. If you havent tried it start off with skoal cherry or spearmint (pussy flavors) then work your way up.

End of discusion lol. My mom loves to just keep asking question after question after question, So when we talked about it I answered all her questions so that she could not ask another one on top of it. She just told me to be safe. and "NEVER IN HER HOUSE!" which I understood. Now she just tells me I stink, when she smells it and ill put cologene on and she thanks me.
