Did you crank the saturation in camera or post? BTW turn down the saturation, the purple and greens looked fake/way too bright.

yeah man believe we screwed it up.. we turned it up way to high for the whole video

we havent done this in any other edit we just really screwed up
our edit dropping soon will be different and hopefully better

good to hear, im very curious about it because im looking at selling my xh a1 and getting at t2i...

Some people like that style of video not always a bad thing, just not my style, i think who ever it was that made O'darolac did a few edits like that, it was cool but just a little much for me

Shoot flat and then color correct. Lurk around some dslr forums to find the best settings. Skatepercpetion has a dslr section and has awesome info with a bunch of helpful people.

not as helpful as DVXusers, you can find/ i have found the best presets for filming and will make a thread there soon for you guys. but i'm glad to see the quality was sick, I am picking mine up in the very near future. what lens did you use?

DO NOT SHOOT WITH A FLAT PICTURE STYLE. It does more harm than good, trust me on this.

Stick with the neutral setting on the camera. Sharpness all the way down, contrast 2 clicks down, the rest stays where it's at. Canons picture styles have very nice, smooth curves. If you insist or shooting "flat", go with marvel cines picture style.

I'll post some examples in a bit.

Agreed. For some reason Canon cameras really pop when you turn the sharpness down.
