Big toe

I dropped about 50lbs of cabinetry wood on my left big toe the other day and my nail is now all purple and shit underneath and starting to get white at the back of the nail. I have heard that all I can do now is wait for it heal and/or the nail to fall off. Has this ever happened to anybody? If yes, did your nail fall off? and did you do anything to help with it?

if it's gonna fall off just let it fall off. once it got to the point where i couldnt rip it off but couldnt do anything else..i just put a band aid on it until it fell off.

its gonna fall off. i hope your mountain closed, cuz you're not going to be doing much skiing with a fucked up big toe.

Might have to do this, depends, you take a hot needle and make a hole your nail to drain the pressure

instead of a needle use a drill, it should end up like this:

I dont think it will come to that haha. I have actually skied 2 days since it happened. I have just taken lots of pain killers and toughed the pain and it actually hurts less in a ski boot. No air time for a while tho. Thanks guys.
