178 Anthem to big?

Looking at buying a pair of 178 Anthems. I'm 5'10" 170 lbs is 178 a good choice?

at 5'8" 160lbs that's what I would ride, it's symmetrical so it would ski a bit shorter, and it's soft so you can still butter easily even though it's long and you'll want the extra length so you don't wash out.

They are about as tall as you are so I'd say they are the perfect size.

theyre deff the way to go. im 6 inches taller and i was riding the 178s, but to me they feel like a much smaller ski, maybe cause theyre so fucking soft

the 171s man. they measure atleast 174cm. i know a bunch of kids that have them

178 is 178cm.

I measured my friends anthem and they were exactly 178 from tip to tail. Effective length that is. Not measured along the topsheet.

And yes 178 will suite you well since anthem is a soft ski. More platform to land and buttering.

^ def don't get 178s at 5'6.  The guy above you was talking to the OP i believe.  You would be much better off with 171s.  178 would be too long man.

this 178 is alot of ski for you. i would even think about going shorter but thats just me.  no need to be as tall as you depending on what yoa to do with it.
