Pole length for park?

Hi guys,

Was wondering how long poles should be for park skiing? I'm 5,10 and use the Fischer addict pro 172 cm.

It really depends on how you like your poles. If you only ski park you don't need long poles so about 30 in. would be good but thats just me I like shorter poles.
You could just cut your poles a couple of in. everytime you go skiing and stop when you feel they go best.

I'd go 40-42 If I was you, its relatively short, but not super short.

30" is REALLY short IMO, unless you are like 5'2

correct park pole length is equal to 1/2 the length of your skis.

i am 6'0 and my poles are 38" i find they are the perfect length, short enough to not get in my way, but long enough that i can still plant them and push with them without bending over too much

I'm 5'8" and using Leki park poles thats 90cm long (its about 35 inch)

i like mine so that when my pole is on the ground and i grip it, my upper arm is vertical and my under arm is almost horizontal, slightly downward...

for powpow maybe a bit longer, but i also have some telescopic poles for skinning....

im 6'2" and i rock 42's. just short enough to not catch going switch, but long enough to still be fairly functional. i ski switch in pow a bunch too, and NOTHING is more annoying than long poles dragging/catching in the snow when you are trying to do that.
