Problems with Speed

Hey,

Im having speed problems on jumps and on taps.

I always deck and knuckle, and it has caused me a lot of pain and a lot of time away from skiing with ice on my knees. I dont know if its my pop, or wax, but I start where everyone else starts for jumps, but i come up short a ton of the time.

Any help is appreciated, thanks

wax, or skate hard, or just start up higher if your 100lbs clearly your going to have to start higher than someone 200lbs

dude its not your wax, or your pop (even though im sure you could pop more).
just dont check your speed, go faster into it, your pussying out big time!

More pop and more speed. Problem solved. I know people who can clear things that nobody else is able to because they pop so damn hard, where others just ride off the jump.

grow some balls

or your bindings are too heavy, or your si hill is not long enough to get the speed for these features

yeah man, just straight line it. dont carve or anything, i think its better to land farther down the landing than knuckle or case it. i dont think you'll have a problem with landing flat if your already having trouble with speed, straight the jump and find the speed you need
