I’m enjoying how you are calling me naïve when your own argument is clearly out of context from what I said. See argument 2
I will agree that I am at a certain advantage coming from a middle age family. Now I am not saying I come from an inner city school district but in no way was anything handed to me. I attended public schooling till high school where I received financial aid from a great private high school. My parents made it clear that if my grades weren’t good enough, I would go to our public high school where I knew I would have less opportunities. I worked my ass of and got admitted to Miami University (OH) where I’m in the process of being accepted into their Farmers School of Business which is ranked 16th Nationally and 6th overall for public universities and colleges. I feel that for many people, if you really do try hard enough, you’ll get somewhere.
I never said everyone without healthcare is lazy. If I did, then I apologize. Until then, I would appreciate if you would stop acting like a politician and taking my words way out of context. Thank you. There obviously are people who got let off the past couple years due to the economy. My comments aren’t directed towards them. Neither towards the people stuck in the cycle of poverty. Mine are towards the people sitting on government checks an deciding to live off them. I know a relative, and several families of friends who do this. I have very little respect for these types of people. I see my dad who works his ass off to make sure he can provide for his family, then I see people sitting on their asses, not even actively seeking employment. It unfuriates me.
Its funny that you call me naïve. I see it more as I have my priorities straight as of right now. I also have my opinion and I will voice it as I see fit.
