Not fake its on their website man. The album is dope. Its not glam pop like Oracular Spectacular, but they have said in interview they made the album BECAUSE they everyone would like it.

They are an indie band not a glam pop band. If you like MGMT download it for sure. If you only like Oracular, don't. plus you probably have some frat function to attend.

alright so ive been thinking about the comparison of the two albums over the past few days and it was really bugging me. After listening to Congratulations in many different states of mind, I decided that Oracular spectacular is more electro dance, like neon colors, and Congratulations is more earthy with sort of a Beatles sound to it if you really listen hard

But yeah anyways, I like it!

if you go to MGMT's website, they admit that the album leaked. you can listen to the songs on the new album as well.

If you read any of the interviews with MGMT about their new album, they warn fans that the new album is different from their popular songs on Oracular Spectacular. true fans are gonna learn to love the new one.

lol @ all the girls who like MGMT on here claiming that only true fans would like congratulations.

its not experiemental, its not weird, theyre not doing anything new and exciting... its just average indie psych-pop whatever. The album doesn't deserve that much praise.
