Snowboarding

So I'm a pretty big skier. I've been going up every weekend during the season since i was like 5, and last week, I thought I'd try snowboarding. I did, and it turns out it's pretty fun, quite possibly 1000 times better than skiing. What do you guys think? Agree?

all my friends i ski with snowboard and they arent assholes. i personally think more skiers are a-holes than snowboarders, if youre a skier. like theres more competiotn between skiers and skiers then skiers and snowboarders. like the kids who are always yelling at you and just being obnoxious you know?. and most of the time for me those are skiers. but yeah the fat ass college retards that get drunk and just go dick around on snowboards and think theyre the shit and just huck meat on jumps and hurt themselves, they are mega assholes and there are starting to be wwaaaaayy too many of them.

but if its a good snowboarder, they usually are way more laid back than skiers and just mind theyre own business. plus snowboarding looks cool.

I'm glad you picked it up so fast. I tried it for a day and got the wind knocked out of me so much from catchng my front edge. After two runs of pure humiliation I put my ski boots back on

really really fun, i definitely suggest trying it. having a skiing backround helps so much too i think, was able to carve pretty easily first run ever. i just hate getting stuck on flats, nothing worse than that.

i used to only snowboard until a couple years ago, when i rented a pair of skis. it seemed 1000 times more fun than snowboarding, so i bought a pair, now skiing is only just as fun as snowboarding, which is still wicked fun, but trying something different is always a good time.

i used to snowboard too but just like skiing better. most of my friends still snowboard tho. I have no problem with it. This isn't 2002 anymore, there shouldn't be any beef between skiers and snowboarders

guilty as charged, I have a POS free snowboard and find it to be quite fun. I might actually buy a real one next year and use it on the mountain, but I'll never leave skiing completely.
