Which skis to get?
I am looking to get a new pair of skis for next season and was wondering your guys' opinion on which skis you would recommend I should get? I ski about 75% park(75% jumps and 25% boxes, rails) 25% harder packed/icy runs(East Coast). I don't hit that big of jumps my home mountain maxes out at around 35 feet, so I want a ski with a good flex for butters etc. I don't have a preference on a company either so give me your suggestion please
+K for responses
if you want a ski with a lot of flex that can rip groomers go with the line elizabeth. super soft ski, 110 underfoot, and extremely playful. they kill it all over the mountain. maybe some line blends if you dont want such a fat ski, the blends are a little stiffer too. or if you want a strictly park ski then you could get line afterbangs. those are all line skis, but i recommend the elizabeths or blends.
I am looking for mainly a Park specific ski and for the Afterbangs, I heard they were more of rail and urban ski than more a jump ski
recommend either ar6 or maybe some Line anthems
The ar6 seems to fit what I would want from what Armada says on their site but they are pretty expensive but, If they perform the way Armada says they will they seem to be worth it
ARmada is deffs a good choice, but for what your looking at, i think the thall is better. softer, so better for jibbin, but will still hold solid on anything up to 40-50 footers.
"Hey buddy whats your name? I just wanna know so i can identify you when i see you in the special olympics." I.like.ski
"Everest is more than one mountain"
"If it was my baby id probally call him lucky, cause hes lucky i didnt get his ass aborted"
RIP and SIP C.R. Johnson, Travis Steeger and Shane McConkey
I looked at the Thall and it seems to fit what I would want, but I went and looked around at some others too and the Volkl Wall seemed pretty nice too, would you still suggest the Thall over the Wall? and what about next years ar7 from Armada?
i would go with thall for the thall is stiff underfoot but soft in the tips and tails. The wall is a good ski for jumps and rails, but too stiff when it comes to butters
The ones Tom Wallisch is using.
Everyone be reppin the tall tees I be reppin the small tees.
ok cool, ill keep looking at the THalls then Thanks!
