The past two seasons the suspects and dumonts were made in China...this year they're made in Austria, should be much better quality. The reason the edge armour failed (for those that don't know, edge armour is basically metal strings that were supposed to hold the edge in place) is because the strings were too tight, so when the edge pulled out, the string snapped and recoiled through the base (thing of a guitar string breaking). I've been told that this problem was fixed - not sure if that means they just loosened the strings or took them out completely. I'm gonna wait before I buy them, but I have always wanted to try out suspects, but the durability has been a concern for me, if they fixed it for real, I think more about picking up a pair...unless you want to sell these for REALLY cheap - but I doubt that.
