Yeah, I love them! Course it depends what it is, but the idea of art eternalized on your body is awesome. I actually have an appointment next week! stoked:) aand I've never had one done before so I definitely feel the excitement!

wow. +vibes for your dad and family. my mom had leukemia, similar story. its also a blood cancer, im glad to say my mom killed that cancer and is alive and well. hope i can say the same for your dad.

I cant color it now, need to get surgery first so it doesnt get fucked. I go to IRIS its in Montreal on ontario street. Guy is so chill, his name is Boogie, did my tatoo on after hours, bough me beer and did it for 75$ an hour. I have around 4 and a half hours done so far !

The artist who did the skeleton does great black and whites as you can see... the guy takes up my whole side from ribs to hip.  One six hour long session to get it all, hurt like madness.

There is an explanation too, its not just a skeleton holding a spear.  Its an early tool using human, a genetic equivalent to all of us but the reason we're not hucking spears into a herd of animals is because of centuries of knowledge accumulated by man.  Its a reminder to myself to think and not be a savage...

cool, i've heard good things about the shop. my shop costs 125 an hr now, and i think it's pretty standard for big shops, but it's ridiculous lol. i always felt like my artist undercharged me though. i go to tattoomania and they're pretty chill. there was some chick who lost her job because her shop shut down, so she's been unemployed for a while, then she started a facebook thing for 30$ tattoos because her dog got hit by an ambulance and she wanted to raise money. somehow i feel like you know this?

Yeah, I'm getting a large piece done from the top of my back at the left shoulder all the way down to my hip, covering a lot of my ribs. I've been told it's going to absolutely KILL. I'm pretty excited.

I have a piece covering the majority of my left side. The ribs weren't horrible, especially compared to what it felt like up around the armpit and the area just below the ribs on my side. Between my ribs and my hip was where I almost vomited.
