I liked the maps better in Cod4, not as dynamic but there was just something about them. Apparently this new map pack has remakes of cod4 levels. Should be interesting.

Does MW2 have any old CoD maps like they did with CoD4? (Chinatown = shitty version of Carentan etc.)?... Other that Wasteland being Brecourt...

I think a lot of it has to do with the online community of PC games... mods/custom maps/designated servers all made it so much more legit. You didn't need some stupid level system and weapon unlocks to make you want to keep playing.
