I got jumped today in the park

Allright so theres a pretty big step-up at the bottom of our park and theres this guy just sitting on the take off and every1s like what the fuck this guy needs to move. so i ride down and like jokeingly throw a snowball at him, miss and tell him to get off the ramp. So im at the bottom of the hill waiting to watch my friend to do the step up so this guy comes over to me pretty fast tackles me and trys up push my face into the snow so i like reverse it and get hom on his back in a headlock and out of fuckingggg nowhere his buddy suckerpunches me in the side of the head breaking my skullcandies. and take this under consideration i am 15 and the guy who tackled me was 25 and the guy who sucker punched me was 27. so me and my friends go over to ski patrol and report it...so like 30 minutes later they endup finding these douchebags and they tell ski patrol that i twisted the story wayyyyy out of line wich i didnt... and so ski patrol asks me if i want to press charges and i decide not to because i dont wanna have to sit through court and shit plus that would be pretty gay. so we end up agreeing on him just paying me 4 my headphones so i ended up getting 50 bucks....what do you think about this NS

that would be a different story but the fact is that they were both sitting a couple feet from each other when the guy came over and suckerpunched him. the fight was over and he punched him when he wasnt even looking, nor did he even know that he was even a friend or anything. he was alone in our eyes, not that it matters but this guy came out of nowhere

My friends lil bro had an experience like this too! We were night skiing and for our last couple runs we decided to go snow some yetis, and my friends lil bro (in the eigth grade but is about 5 feet tall) snows this one snowboarder dude (big guy around 25 years old). he got him pretty bad and started booking it to the bottom of the hill. As he's skiing around the lift line, out of nowhere the snowboarders buddy comes running at him, snowboard in hands, and takes a full blown swing right at the lil guys head. fukin brutal. Immediatley the two dudes run away to the parking lot, nowhere to be found.

worst part, there were tons of people aroung and nobody did shit

i think you should have pressed charges.. because pressing charges means that they will go to court, you woulnt have too.. it also means that they would have it on their record not paying money.. because who knows maby they will think they can get away with trying to kick the shit out of 15 year olds next time..

I threw snowballs at 15, and when people I usually got what I deserved, and accepted it because guess what, if you throw the first punch, you start the fight. There is no reason why this kid couldn't have said "could you please move" instead of throwing a snowball. 15 is old enough to accept responsibility for your actions.

you can try and press charges, but you're not going to get very far. you threw a snowball at him. that is assault. (hell, maybe it was an ice ball? maybe it had rocks in it?) you started the confrontation, so don't think you can pull that innocent little kid bullshit. you aren't going to sue him, because you have no grounds to do so. you aren't innocent. you started a fight and you lost.

maybe you fucking 15 year olds should learn not to fuck around with people older than you. you got your ass kicked. hopefully you learned your lesson. now quit being such a little bitch.

and for the record, I don't give a fuck if someone is 15, 25, or 50, if they throw a snowball at me, I'm going to punch them.

The lesson to be learned is simply that you shouldn't initiate any sort of conflict (albeit verbal, physical, or throwing a fucking snowball) if you don't understand/accept that there's a coinflip of a chance that you're going to end up getting your ass beat.

Did the guy overreact? Absolutely, but you never know what kind of person you're dealing with/what's going on with them. Mind your own business, ask the guy to move out of the landing, don't throw fucking snowballs, and I guarantee that your ski day won't end in debating whether to sue (hahaha) some guy who probably was doing what your parents should have when you were still shitting yourself.

I honestly think that people occasionally need to get smacked in the face as a sort of reality check.

Related story:

I once tailgated the shit out of someone through a residential area who was going 5ish mph under the speed limit. We got to a stop sign, and the guy hopped out of the car. He was huge, and angry as fuck. He told me that if I didn't back the fuck off, that he was going to drag me through my window and kick the shit out of me. So, I was pretty much being a dick (self-righteously and justifiably in my head as he wasn't following proper driving "etiquette"), he overreacted, and I backed the fuck off.

So, don't be an entitled little shit who thinks he's invincible and you won't have strangers bouncing your face off of the ground.

thank you... how are there so many dbags in one place in this thread. 2 on 1 versus a 15 year old? seriously? if anybody else in the park older than 20 had a set of balls they should have come down and helped the kid out, who the fuck hits a 15 year old?

Do you guys really think using ski poles as a weapon is a viable option? I don't think it would work out very well. Stabbing probably wouldn't be very effective, I mean a tip to the face might do some damage, but if it hits outerwear.... I dunno. If you swing it you better be some home run hitting
strong man and slam it grandly. One hit is probably all you're gonna get before the guys rolls in and grabs for it. And if you have your straps on, you could get yanked around and lose control. I'd probably ditch my poles right away, or try for one face stabbing then toss em.



I throw snowballs all over the place. If someone tried to fight me over it I would think they were ridiculous. If I were the OP and some welfare queens tag teamed me I would probably press charges. Just because he thew the snowball earlier in the day doesn't mean they can "fight back" whenever, wherever.
