Avalung noise

alright so i finally saved up and went out to buy an avalung b/c it seems like they are almost must have b/c tool. Looking at these videos about using the avalung http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JdfixypnT8
it seems like the avalung packs make a noise when u breathe into them, I DID NOT buy the avalung pack, just the seperate avalung sling.

My question is: Is the avalung sling supposed to make that noise when breathing as well? Mine isn't and im wondering if it is a defective product

As far as I know, it doesnt matter. Although I have noticed that it happens more whenever you just relax and breath easily into it, rather than kind of forcing your breath.

that humming noise?
that's just the sound of something vibrating in the tube most likely, i think if yours doesnt make that noise you are probably better off. but then again, i dont know.

Yeah, if you actually READ the instructions, this is normal and is just the air traveling through the tube. You are ok, sir.
