What Helmet Cam?

I think i have it narrowed down.
I could by the vholdr contourHD this weekend for 314


or do I wait and save an extra 300 bucks for the V.I.O pov which I could probably afford by end of Jan/halfway through feb

I definatly DO NOT want the go hero because they are bulky as.

Open to other suggestions of good bullet cams

If suggesting please link me to a site.

you'll be pissed when you pay more for some POS camera that has shitty quality and breaks the first day of use if you don't buy the gopro. you don't even notice it, the picture quality is ridiculous. do it.

if your concerned about bulkyness did you consider the fact that the gopro has no wires? i have yet to use mine yet but i dont forsee it being very bulky at all.

Its like having a big square thing coming out your head... plus I dont like the side mount....

and as I wear a full face above isnt an option

So far im thinking just getting the money for the VIO 1.5 and using it with the goggle mount

aparently the mic on the contourHD is really bad...

but again open to ideas of OTHER brands.

i know you dont wanna hear it at all, but just get the go pro HD, i dont notice mine at all and side mounts are easy

The V.I.O 1.5 is a sick camera. TGR Uses it in their movies, and alot of guys on their forum seems to love it.

i just ordered a stealth epic wide


i'm waiting for it to come it the mail but it is pretty legit and the quality is alright not hd but i'm cool with it

I ordered the GoPro. The quality is simply amazing, it doesn't have the issues the other cameras have, and is completely and utterly waterproof. Who cares if it is sticking from your head, you have the best POV cam on the market, the guy laughing doesn't even know what it can do.

You do bring up a good point with the mounts snagging things, but you'd have to be pretty deliberate to hit a branch large enough to brake a mount... That by far is less intimidating to me than wires running up my ass... haha
