alpha 1... new technology, fast base, really turny, extremely small radius, rocker!!! as a park ski.


its a bit stiffer than the t-hall so if u dont like stiff skis then you might want to reconsider your thughts

alpha's have the elfshoe tech. so even if they are stiffer, they still butter like nothing. evryone i know who's got em loves them

i like the alpha 1's. but i would say mount them at recommended. i think even if you are skiing 97% park that's the best spot. but that may just be my opinion.

go with the alpha 1's, i just rode them for the first time and they are the best ski i have ever ridden. i mounted them at center

theyre both good skis and you cant go wrong with either but i suggest the alphas because of all the reasons already listed.

i would sugest the alphas with the marker schizo jester binding.  Thats what i got its an amazing set up.  The ability to move from core center to true center and farther forward and back makes my skiing experience on them amazing.  I was able to rip threw 2-3 foot of pow in em. and am still able to kill in the park.

IIRC the videos on the armada site say that the only difference is that the 1 has a race base and the 2 has a slightly softer (cheaper) base, but that the core materials and everything else was exactly the same.  Which is why the 2s are slightly cheaper.

and the alpha 1s ahve a faster base (the one of the pipe cleaner) whilst alpha 2s have the ar6 base

alpha 1 = pipecleaner rockerd = slightyl stiff and faster better base more pricey
alpha 2 = ar6 rockerd = same shit , fatty base edge just like you get with ALL armada PARK skis

alpha 1's have the comp base and ar core 2 which is a lighter stiffer core
alpha 2's have the s7 base and the ar core 1 which is a softer base

basically the alpha 1 is a rockered pipe cleaner and the alpha 2 is a rockered ar6

um well they were mounted core center, so 2.5 back.  Moved them forward 1.5 so its -1 back from true center.  I havent had much more than a couple days messing with em. I can update ya as i ridem more.
