Who wear their shoes with no socks?

Well, there was the thread about people skiing without socks a bit ago, so who doesn't wear socks with their regular shoes? Must have come from living in CA and wearing flip-flops regardless of the weather. . .

I've been rocking the Nike AF 1 hitops, they keep my feet relatively warm despite the cool weather outside.

Sperrys, sandals, and flip flops are no sock situations. Everything else needs to be rocked with socks to prevent horrible smelling feet

With socks is more comfy especially on hot days when feet get sweaty.

But if I can deal with the slight discomfort for a bit, I prefer the way it looks without socks.
Unless they're high tops. In that case it makes no difference cause I wear ankle socks.

One night at soccer it started raining really bad so we went to the nearest gym to do some cardio. I didn't have another pair of socks besides the pair that I was wearing in my cleats that were absolutely soaked so I decided to wear my tennis without socks. Worst decision ever, those shoes were only 2 weeks old and still stink terribly to this day, it's been almost a year and a half.

Never wear socks with em. I use GoldBond to get rid of the moisture and make my feet smell nice.

Exactly, that's what I wore today, except I have the blue colored ones. They don't get that sweaty, they don't smell too bad either. Just not exactly a long-lasting shoe, though.

Also been rocking Adidas Sambas recently, they smell somewhat worse than the Vans.

I guess I got used to it- my usual hiking attire is trail running shoes and no socks. Really- that's what I wore on the Whitney trail a few years back, all 22 miles of it, and a lot of other hikes.

i've done no socks with light running shoes, but when it comes to casual shoes (and i usually wear clunky ass skate shoes) i couldn't rock no sock steeze. i feel like they'd chafe the hell out of my feet, and if i went to a friends house or something, walking around in bare feet would be a little awkward.

shoes get awfully stinky too if you wear them a lot with no socks

Yeah, it's more or less been since March for me as well. I had something formal yesterday, but went right back to no socks today. Smelly sneakers ftw, mine are pretty grungy.

How about the ski/snowboard boots?

why? my feet get sweaty easy enough and im not even a big kid. i dont see a reason why someone would want too, its not comfy. socks are warm, cozy, and your shoes/feet will smell 100 times worse without them

I used to not wear socks a lot until my shoes started to smell terrible and i rub the heel padding away so my ankle was being attacked by the plastic support in the back of the heel.
