I‘ve been around here a while, im just now signing up looking for some advise
I’m 6’1”, 200 lbs. With the exception of a week a year out west, I ski in the Midwest. Of the 30 or so days a year I ski, around 12 are in pow and the rest is in the park and on groomers. I have been skiing 174 public enemies for the past three seasons.
I just bought a pair of 179 pep fujas. I was looking for a semi-fat all mountain ski with rocker and camber under foot that was close to symmetrical.
I just found the on3p jeronimo and now I’m lost again. I was looking for a ski with a little more length and rocker than the peps. The jeronimo is a 181. The peps have a 5/30 mm rocker and the jeronimos have a 1/25 cm rocker. If converted, that means the jeronimos have a 10mm rocker, twice that of the peps( I may be wrong, but their site has it in cm). Looking at the peps in person and the jeronimos online, it looks to be true. Both skis are close to symmetrical at 126-95-120 and 126-96-120, and both have camber underfoot.
The flex of the peps is a concern of mine also.
Should I return the peps and get the jeronimos? Backcountry.com has a sweet return policy so it won’t be a problem
