I started dipping in the hockey locker room after practices and games... now I throw in a chew about every day.  I enjoy it, its relaxing, and its kind of social in a weird way.  In that I mean when you find out a new acquaintance is into throwing in a lip, you get really pumped up and have a dip session annnnndddd BAM! new friend.

I chew about 2 tins a week, grizz mint. I never thought I would do it, till I was in baseball and I tried it then was hooked.

My grandpa has been chewing for god knows how long hes 89 now and he is healthy as anyone, no problems from it.

i dip, i used it to quit smoking cigs, it worked now i dip about a tin a week, i think im gunna try quitting starting NOW! haha we'll see how this hole go cold turkey on a random friday afternoon goes.  wish me luck

Exactly what i think. I think its pointless to smoke or take something unless you get a high. And I know people say it calms your nerves and stuff but it can't make you feel like you do after smoking a bowl.

I really don't think that the pictures you had were really from chew. I know the guy without the jaw but the other two not so much. I understand that its BAD for you i'm just stating that even though that its been deemed hazardous people still enjoy it.

So enjoy being a dentist and working on people that have a problem with chewing.

And just a question how many people actually come to you with tobacco related mouth problems induced by chewing? Not being a smart ass just curious

Dudes, quit that shit.  My dad was addicted for 21 years.  Quit several times, and started again.  He would get hella pissed off when trying to quit.  We figured he spent about 2 grand a year on that shit.  Thank got he quit over a year ago.  I am just hoping it stays that way, he seams pretty strong about it now so thats good.

thats intense chewing if its true...thats roughly 40 dollars a week which is about 8 - 10 tins a week. depending on the brand.

I figure I'll quit when I am done with college, it is so relaxing, and I focus so much better with a dip in...weed is great though its to fucking expensive...i throw down 7 bucks a week for 2 tins of chew. I'll admit im hooked I get hella pissed when I run out and can't make it to the store. I hide that shit good though if you talked to me in person you would never know I had one in.

I doubt I'll ever want to tru chew, sounds too disgsting. However, I've smoked on-off for over 5 years and am into Snus right now... A good Vanilla flavored nicotine buzz while reading a good book on your bed...it's pretty nice.

BUT KIDS DON'T EVER START!!! Seriously. I would buy 16,000,000 beers or liters of booze to kids, but never tobacco products. If you start it's up to you, not me. No way.
