I was walking my dog and i stopped cuz my dog was taking a shit. i just saw it lying in the ditch so i grabbed it with one of my dogs shit bags( un used) my dad and i are taking it to the police station. Just had to tell/claim. anyone wanna tell me the type thanks.

LOL, I was just busting your balls. I would love to own a MP40, such a historic gun.

I got a 1911 Springfield Arms .45 ACP for my 21st last month. Gonna go kill a tree in my backyard with it while my dad kills the same tree with his .44 magnum.

 UPDATE:

 so my dad went to the police. told them everything. they talked to him for about an hour and i got called in and i drove down with my mom. I got finger printed and all that shit. i had to write a formal statement wherer i was what i was doing all that shit. really anoying. so iv been back for a bit now just trying to finish my chem project. so yea thats about it. they said they will call us and let us know about what happens.

Desert Eagle's are completely and totally impractical to carry around and use. You can just as easily put someone down with a .45 or a .44 magnum.

A44 is a large gun to deal with like a Desert Eagle. A 45 or a 9mm has enough stopping power and are both easily controlled.

Yeah, the .44 magnum is common as a collectors gun though, which is the only reason I brought it up. Plus, they have the newer .44 magnums that don't have the gigantic barrel cause of how they re worked the grip and barrel to be kinda like the Smith and Wesson 500.

I didn't read thru all of the bs in the thread, but if you look at the barrel it clearly states that it is a Smith and Wesson. If you look it the handle, you can see that it says Military xxxxx. My guess would be an M&P 40 with a thumb safety.

It's be easier to tell if we had a pic of the other side of the gun.
