Those on this site who have served in the military might notice that the Jackson Hole Air Force's patch is a direct ripoff of the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion's logo called "The Jack" and its motto, "Swift, Silent, Deadly". It's not exactly a secret.
But has anyone else noticed the use of the graphics/fonts for the upcoming TGR film about the Jackson Hole Airforce called "Swift Silent Deep" and the HBO Miniseries called "Generation Kill" which is about the very unit that the JHAF stole the logo from?
Just a question from someone who wears that logo to work.
I'm assuming it's not a coincidence but quite deliberate.
Anyone see both pieces of work and have comments on either?
