Old school Johnny Cash or stuff from his era of country.  New country, for the most part, is just acoustic rocknroll.  If I want southern twang rock I'll just pop in some Lynyrd Skynyrd....

John Prine, Johnny Cash, and John Fogarty are my favorites. I've seen John Prine in concert and it was so good. I was definitely the youngest in the audience though

I love country. But i hate shit like rascal flatts, its too much like pop. I like alot of the old and new shit, Johhny Cash, Brooks N Dunn, Dierks Bentley, Tim Mcgraw, Hank Williams, etc...

I don't mind bits here and there.  I respect anyone who can play their instrument.  For example, Keith Urban (yes...pop-country crap) rips on guitar.  I like Paul Brandt every now and then.  I don't like country very regularly though.

I'm a big fan of country. The Kenny Chesney concerts that I've been to have been a blast. And Garth Brooks is still one of my favorite artists off all time.

country is one type of music i could not stand for the longest time until a couple buddies would play it just to aggravate me and it has since grown on me.  sidenote fact about country is it is the most likely type of music to drive someone towards suicide.
