Is 2mm really a difference?

same size boot, 27.5 but one is 317mm bsl and the other is 315 bsl.. does the 2mm really affect anything? foward pressure?

From my uninformed "caveman" opinion on your situation I would say not, I know Ive swithed skis with friends when our BSls were that close, may not have been safe.

yes it does, just learn how to adjust your bindings properly and you will be gravy.  having your forward pressure off will affect how your din works.  having it too tight will make the din seem higher and too loose will make it seem lower.  so just know how to check it and set it up right

no, you might want to crank your screws back like a quarter of a turn just for perfect forward pressure but it's not a big deal
